MFFC + Columbia Fireflies
We could not support foster children in the Midlands community without the help of our extraordinary partners. The Columbia Fireflies organization often steps up to honor the mission of MFFC. One of our favorite partner events is an annual Fireflies game from which some proceeds directly benefit our programs. Cheering on our favorite team and raising funds for our kids? Yes, please!
A Little Christmas Magic
A little extra magic at Christmas is super important...for every kid! Luckily, MFFC has a special connection with the big guy at the North Pole. And on one wonderful night during the holiday season, Santa and Mrs. Claus come out to celebrate with us!
You'll often see an assortment of precious teddy bears at MFFC's holiday events. That's entirely due to our incredible partners - Kay Jewelers - who gift the bears to our foster kids as part of their annual St. Jude plush campaign.
Annual Bowling Tourney
Each year, Richland County Sheriff's Department (RCSD) hosts a Cops 4 Kids Bowling Tournament that directly benefits Midlands Foundation for Foster Children. The event is such a great day of fun and friendly competition. The turnout is always beyond our imagining! It's absolutely beautiful to see all these wonderful humans come together with the goal of making a difference in the lives of foster kids. The money we raise at this event is critical to the success of our programs. We cannot thank RCSD enough for ALL that they do to support the awesome kids MFFC serves!
Alpha Xi Delta @ USC
Alpha Xi Delta Sorority at the University of South Carolina is very special to foster children in the Midlands and to our organization. You'll see these young women in pictures across all of our events...because they show up, consistently, to support our kids. On top of that, the ladies of Alpha Xi Delta surprise MFFC often with huge donations of essential items for the kids like clothing and bookbags. And they even host their own events to benefit MFFC! Most recently the sorority hosted a Kickball Frenxi at parents weekend and presented our org with the proceeds. We are grateful and humbled by the dedication and heart of these women. Thank you Alpha Xi Delta!
